Welcome to ExPRES’ documentation!

ExPRES (Exoplanetary and Planetary Radio Emission Simulator) is a versatile tool that computes the observation opportunities of planetary radio emissions, based on the radio source beaming patterns and the observer’s location.

ExPRES is an open source software (available under MIT license). It is maintained on GitHub and it is citable using its DOI:10.5281/zenodo.4292002. The code is described in details in a paper published in Astronomy & Astrophyics [LHC+19].

ExPRES is part of the MASER (Measuring Analyzing & Simulating Emissions in Radio frequencies) project. The code, its references and the access to data is presented here.
